On Saturday morning, we hit the road for a morning hike at Aztalan State Park located in the Town of Aztalan in Jefferson County, Wisconsin.
Aztalan State Park was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1964 and two years later, in 1966 it was also added to the National Register of Historic Places.
King of the hill!
Goal: Take a picture with every state park sign and make a blanket out of all of the pictures!
I’ll keep this short and just steal a little bit of info from my Instragram (destiny_hikes_wisconsin) introduction post.
I thought I’d take a minute to briefly introduce myself and the idea behind this page. My name is Destiny, I’m 25, married to my high school sweetheart/hiking buddy, and dog-mom to my favorite furry friend, Piper (a 1 year-old Goldendoodle). I graduated in ’15 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and soon after became a licensed Wisconsin Real Estate Agent. I now work in an M&A firm and help clients buy and sell privately held companies. We recently moved to Hartland, Wisconsin and am excited to become more involved in the wonderful local community. I recently made a goal to visit, hike and explore every state park in Wisconsin (29/48). I made this page to record my memories and share the beauty of Wisconsin with others. See you on the trail!
